Helmand University (Pashto: هلمند پوهنتون) is located in Lashkar Gah, Afghanistan, which is the capital of Helmand Province.[1] It was established in 2006 and its current chancellor is Sheikh Hafiz Mavlawi Muhammad Nasim Haqqani. Helmand University has faculties of Economics, Agriculture and Education.[2]
