Ménil-Hubert-en-Exmes

Ménil-Hubert-en-Exmes (French pronunciation: [menil ybɛʁ ɑ̃.n‿ɛm]) is a commune in the Orne department in northwestern France.
Geography
The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, La Bergerie, La Farinière and Ménil-Hubert-en-Exmes.[3]
The Commune is one of 30 communes that make up the Natura 2000 protected area of Bocages et vergers du sud Pays d'Auge.[4]
The commune has one river, the Vie and a single stream, the Douy running through its borders.

Notable buildings and places
National heritage sites
Chateau Menil-Hubert-en-Exmes an 18th century chateau that was classified as a Monument historique in 2010.[5] The artist Edgar Degas was invited to stay at the Chateau in 1859 and had a workshop built for him to work in.[6]
